Paige grew up in South Dakota and enjoys small community life. She is married and has three children. The Thompson family enjoys being active outside, spending time at the family farm, traveling, playing sports, reading, and cooking. Paige spends a lot of time volunteering in the community and enjoys being involved in numerous organizations within the mental health field.

Paige is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Augustana University with a Bachelors then earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of South Dakota. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field including school, clinical mental health, and hospital settings, she has a wealth of experience offering services such as crisis intervention, IEP services, individual and small group therapy, diagnostic assessments, professional development, coaching, social work supervision, and consultation. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors and is trained in a number of evidence-based mental health modalities. She has witnessed that in so many of life's toughest moments, it is the presence of another caring individual that moves people through.

Evergreen Counseling and Consulting gets its name from Paige's daughter. Evergreen was her 4th child who died in utero in 2018. She is named Evergreen and often called Evie. Her name was chosen because the Evergreen tree makes it through anything - whatever a long, cold winter might throw at it - it has this great resolve to continue. Its' branches remain intact. When Paige thought about opening her own LLC, she immediately knew her daughter's name was the right fit. So many of life's deepest challenges may affect our own "branches," and though we certainly look and feel differently after these life experiences, we continue growing.
